A deeper dive into the principles and methods of removing different types of dents, as well as a variety of new techniques. Content of the week: 1) removal of complex damages (i.e. sharp, deep, long, on the edges) in open areas, as well as in some areas with difficult access; 2) methods of working with glue-pulling technology when removing various types of dents; 3) a combination of instrumental (hook) and glue-pulling technology to achieve the best repair results; 4) advanced mastery of removing sharp, deep and long dents, as well as dents on edges; 5) determining whether there is a stretching of the dent; 6) rules for repairing stretched dents; 7) lowering sharp kinks and bends in metal; 8) principles and rules for repairing doors using the Door-Dingers method (without disassembling); 9) advanced understanding of PDR glue-pulling technology; 10) ways to access different places on the machine; 11) principles and rules for disassembling necessary parts in a car. Mastering the main principles of working with PDR technology. Content of the week: 1) getting to know the profession, getting to know the principles and techniques of work, getting to know the tool; 2) how to approach the car: inspection, determination of defect type; 3) choosing the right tool for the given dent; 4) correct placement of the lamp; different types of lighting, lamps and reflector boards (reflectors) and working with them; 5) removal of simple round damages in open areas, as well as in some difficult to access areas. Additional high-level professional knowledge. Practical exercises, skill reinforcement. Content of the week: 1) hail dent removal - full plan; 2) removal of large smooth dents on wide surfaces (roof, hood); 3) removing dents on surfaces with complex shapes (with double bends, with oblique or rounded bends, with double edges); 4) repair of hanging edges of car parts (on the edge of doors, on the edge of wings); 5) secrets to very quickly remove dents in certain areas of a car; 6) methods of working with the "HOT SPOT" inductor and the "HOT STRIKE" device for eliminating metal stretching; 7) unusual body positions and methods of accessing dents; 8) working with aluminum car parts; 9) valuable tips and skills when working with customers' cars. |
After graduating from the course, students will acquire and consolidate skills in removing both simple and complex dents in both easily accessible and hard-to-reach areas, and will learn various methods for accessing dents.
